OMG! OMG! OMG! OMG!

I’m still getting over the shock (good shock, not bad shock) of being nominated for this!  I can’t even begin to tell you all how honoured I am!

The lovely Emma at Em’s Den nominated me a couple of weeks ago for a Liebster Award which is awarded to new bloggers with interesting blogs. Thanks so much Em, for thinking my blog is interesting. 😀

As part of this award is to nominate 11 other blogs with less than 200 followers, I have been struggling! I’m so new to blogging that haven’t quite figured out how to find new blogs… bear with me! I’ve decided to just go with it and add to my nominations list as I come across blogs I like.

For those of you that I nominate – there is no deadline for this, there is also no ‘actual’ award as such, this is just a nod from your fellow bloggers to say your blog is awesome, keep it up!

The rules for the nominees are as follows –

  • Create a post about the award on your blog
  • Thank the person who nominated you and create a link back to their blog
  • Share 11 facts/interesting things about yourself
  • Answer the 11 questions that you were given by the person who nominated you
  • Nominate 11 bloggers who have less than 200 followers
  • Create 11 interesting questions for your nominees to answer
  • Inform your nominees by posting your nomination on their blog.

  1. I LOVE this post! 🙂 I’m so glad I nominated you and it’s great to find out a little more about the person behind the blog. Although, now I must tell you that I’m extremely jealous of you for the following reasons…
    1) You are from Australia! (almost!) I LOVE that country but have never been.
    2) You can speak Russian! I am trying to learn Russian as a challenge to myself because it’s a hard language to learn. I’ve still not got past the basics!
    3) You have mastered the art of folding a fitted sheet!

Also we have a little in common. I hate seafood, I’m a dog person who now owns cats, I love chocolate AND I’m petrified of heights!! I also love your 5 words to describe yourself. Every one of those words also applies to me! 🙂

    • Lol, thanks Em! Thanks so much for the nomination 🙂 I applaud you for learning Russian, it’s a really difficult language to learn – I have never studied it, it’s just something I grew up with. You should definitely go to Oz, it’s a beautiful place, full of contradictions. But if you go, go bush… The cities are nice but the real beauty is in the outback.
As for fitted sheet folding, I found a tutorial on YouTube and studied it until I had it down… We have space issues so I can no longer just shove unfolded fitted sheets away … On a happy note it forced me to learn how 🙂
Looks like we have a lot in common 🙂
