I’ve been a bit slack with the whole blogging thing lately, I’m so sorry…
The hubby and I spent a week in Crete and since then I’ve been busy doing laundry – how is there so much laundry?? Cleaning our apartment and catching up with friends who have all been away too. Need less to say there hasn’t been much crafting happening around here but that’s all about to change as life goes back to normal.
Crete was lovely in a lot of ways and not so lovely in a few of them… Hubby and I usually travel pretty independently but seeing as our trip this time was super last-minute and in the middle of summer here in Europe we decided to just book a ‘package’ type last-minute deal. We ended up in a hotel that was obviously designed for German tourists as ALL the staff spoke to everyone in German, which made it feel not like being in Greece at all 😦
Despite all of that we had sunshine and the beach so it wasn’t all terrible 😀 We managed to get some culture in too and went to visit a monastery and some crumblies (ruins) and met a stunning little kitty the we would have loved to smuggle back home if we could.
I did manage to do a little crafting since we came home as it was my friend’s daughter’s birthday so I managed to whip up this little card for her.
That’s it for now, but I promise there will be more posts coming!!
